Kennametal Shared Services was established in 2005 as a Captive Centre of Excellence of the Kennametal Enterprise, to provide global support in the realm of IT Applications, SAP Consulting, Infrastructure Management, Product Engineering & Design and Global Sales Order Processing.
Strong, dynamic leadership supported by an able team of experienced Managers heading the Applications, Infrastructure, Process Excellence, Human Resources & Finance functions and a highly competent and motivated team , is the key to KSSPLs success at being a world-class IT organization. The collective experience of the KSSPL Management Team is over a century and this gives KSSPL its cutting edge - a unique blend of Youth and Experience.

The Applications Group comprises of professionals with rich domain & SAP Expertise. The Application Team develops and supports various SAP and E-Business applications that include core R/3 modules like SD, MM, FI, CO, LES, PP, PS, HR & BW as well new dimensional modules like SCM.
China, Israel, US, Korea, Japan, Europe, to name a few, are some of the Kennametal sites that have benefited from the teams flawless roll out of SAP modules. The Team has earned innumerable customer accolades by delivering high quality results and on time, every time.
The Infrastructure Group is responsible for IT Infrastructure in the Asia-Pac region, spread across as many as 50 locations spanning13 countries across the region.
Kennametal’s email service is hosted out of its Asia Pacific Headquarters at Singapore using Lotus Notes domino servers in clustered mode. From all our Asia Pac sites we have established AT&T MPLS network connection to the hosting site and also to our corporate headquarters at Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA.
Our communication network is state of art and is built completely on Cisco devices.
The Global Engineering Group set up as a Centre of Design Excellence in the Kennametal Enterprise, is involved in supporting the Kennametal enterprise in Product Engineering & Design for various businesses. The Team comprises of High Caliber Mechanical Engineers, with rich experience in Product Design, Development & Product Prototype testing.
Team members work on state of the art platforms using advanced design tools like CATIA to develop high-end design and drawings for prototype manufacturing, testing and product enhancements on a continuous basis
The Global Sales Order Processing Center was established as a Center of Excellence for facilitating the processing of customer orders across the Globe. The team works in accordance with Global Time Zones 24x7 , all through the calendar year to support Kennametal businesses and meet Customer needs across continents. Going forward, Voice Processing is also envisaged to make KSSPL a hub for Customer Order Processing across the Kennametal enterprise.
