Paul DeMand

Vice President, and President, Metalworking Solutions and Services Group,
Kennametal Inc.

Paul J. DeMand is Vice President, Kennametal Inc., and President of Kennametal’s Metalworking Solutions and Services Group (MSSG). In this role, Mr. DeMand is responsible for MSSG operations worldwide, comprising more than half of the company’s overall sales revenues.

Prior to joining Kennametal, Mr. DeMand served as Senior Vice President / Division Head of the Industrial Products Group at Johnson Electric, Ltd., Hong Kong. Previously, he held various executive positions of increasing responsibility with General Motors, TI Group PLC and Solectron Corporation while based in Asia, Europe and North America.

Mr. DeMand holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Kettering University and an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
