Kennametal Inc. announced today that two of its inventors were honored with the Advanced Manufacturing Award at the 13th Annual Carnegie Science Center Awards. This is the eighth time that Kennametal has been recognized for excellence in the areas of advanced manufacturing, materials and corporate innovation.

Inventors, Karen Craig and Dr. Dirk Kammermeier, were honored for their development of a hybrid tool that performs both milling and grinding operations. Innovation is the cornerstone of Kennametal's success and this honor exemplifies the great talent the company has committed to innovation and customer excellence.
