Christopher Rossi is President and Chief Executive Officer of Kennametal Inc.
Christopher joined Kennametal in August of 2017. Prior to his current role, he served as the CEO of Dresser-Rand at Siemens.
Throughout his more than 30 year career at Dresser-Rand Group Inc., its affiliates and predecessor companies, Christopher held numerous leadership positions including executive vice president of global operations, vice president of technology and business development and executive vice president of global aftermarket sales.
Christopher holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a master’s of business administration in corporate finance and operations management from the University of Rochester. He is also member of the Board of Directors at Terex Corporation.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Kennametal Inc.
Damon Audia is vice president and chief financial officer of Kennametal Inc. In this role, Damon leads the company’s finance, treasury, accounting, investor relations, information technology and sourcing functions.
Mr. Audia joined Kennametal in September of 2018. Prior to his current role, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Carpenter Technology Corporation. In addition, Mr. Audia spent ten years in various leadership positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company including senior vice president of finance for the company’s North America and Asia Pacific divisions and senior vice president of corporate business development. He has also held financial roles at Delphi Corporation and General Motors.
Mr. Audia holds a master’s of business administration from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree in general studies from the University of Michigan.
Judith L. Bacchus
Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Kennametal Inc.
Judith L. Bacchus is vice president and chief administrative officer of Kennametal Inc. In this position, Ms. Bacchus oversees all human resources, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities globally spanning nearly 40 countries. She also leads the company's internal and external corporate communications function worldwide.
Ms. Bacchus joined Kennametal in April 2006. Prior to her current role, she served as vice president human resources for Kennametal’s shared services, growth and segment functions and also led the global talent acquisition team. Before joining Kennametal, Ms. Bacchus was human resources generalist - North America for the Marconi Corporation. She has more than 25 years of experience as a human resource professional.
Ms. Bacchus holds a bachelor of science degree in administration and management from LaRoche College in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Universal Stainless and Alloy Products, Inc.
Vice President, Kennametal Inc. and President, Infrastructure Segment
Franklin Cardenas joined Kennametal in 2020 as Vice President of Kennametal Inc. and President of the Company’s Infrastructure segment.
Cardenas has global responsibility for the Infrastructure segment. In this role he is accountable for advancing the business strategy, driving operational excellence and delivering profitable growth in the advanced materials, earth cutting tools, engineered components, additive manufacturing and ceramics businesses within the segment.
Cardenas spent nearly 25 years with Donaldson Company, Inc., starting with the company in Mexico in 1995. He has deep global experience having held various business and general management roles, with responsibility for commercial and operations, during his time with the company. Cardenas held management positions covering Mexican and Latin American markets prior to being named Managing Director, Latin America in 2005 and Vice President, Global Engine Aftermarket, in 2010. In his most recent role, he was the Vice President of Asia Pacific, and was responsible for accelerating profitable growth, driving market share and improving productivity.
Cardenas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico City.
Vice President Kennametal Inc. & President, Metal Cutting Segment
Sanjay Chowbey joined Kennametal in 2021 as Vice President of Kennametal Inc. and President of the Company’s Metal Cutting segment.
Sanjay has global responsibility for the Metal Cutting segment. In this role he is accountable for all aspects of the business, including advancing the strategy, driving operational excellence and delivering profitable growth for the segment.
He has more than 20 years of experience at various industrial companies, including Flowserve Corporation, Danaher and Arvin Meritor Inc. Sanjay brings deep global and cross-functional perspective having held various President and General Manager roles, with responsibility for strategy, operations, sales, marketing and finance. In his most recent role, he was President of the $1.2 billion Services & Solutions business at Flowserve.
Sanjay earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University; Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Tech University; and Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from B.I.T. in Sindri, India.
Michelle R. Keating
Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, Kennametal Inc.
Michelle R. Keating is vice president, secretary and general counsel for Kennametal Inc. In this position, she has global legal responsibility for the company and its legal department and serves as secretary to the board of directors.
Michelle joined Kennametal in 2010. In her previous roles as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary, she was responsible for the company’s SEC and NYSE compliance, corporate governance, legal direction of global mergers and acquisitions, subsidiary management, as well as commercial contracts.
Prior to joining Kennametal, Ms. Keating served as contract manager at WESCO Distribution, where she was responsible for negotiating agreements with the company’s largest customers and suppliers.
Ms. Keating received her bachelor’s degree from Westminster College and her juris doctorate from Duquesne University’s School of Law. She recently served as a member of the board of directors of Kennametal India Limited.
Dr. Carlonda Reilly
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Kennametal Inc.
Carlonda R. Reilly, Ph.D., is vice president and chief technology officer of Kennametal Inc. In this role, she is responsible for leading Kennametal’s global research, development and engineering organization.
Dr. Reilly joined Kennametal in September of 2018. Prior to her current role, she served as global technology director in DuPont’s Transportation and Advanced Polymers business.
Throughout her more than 22-year career at DuPont, Dr. Reilly has held various R&D, operations, marketing and business leadership roles, including serving as global technology director for DuPont’s Building Innovations.
Dr. Reilly holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware. She is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Delaware Research Foundation and is the Director & Chairman of the Kennametal Shared Services Private Limited (KSSPL) Board.
Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller, Kennametal Inc.
Patrick Watson is vice president finance and corporate controller of Kennametal Inc. In this role, Mr. Watson is responsible for the company’s corporate and financial accounting, planning, reporting and controlling.
Mr. Watson joined Kennametal in 2004. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president finance for Kennametal’s industrial business segment, as well as finance director for the company’s European business and director of mergers and acquisitions and financial analysis. Prior to Kennametal, Mr. Watson was employed by Allegheny Energy, Inc. and Eckerd Corporation in which he held financial and supply chain roles.
Mr. Watson holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of Pittsburgh and master’s of business administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
