Kennametal marketing infographic

Kennametal delivers dynamic careers in global strategic marketing.

Kennametal believes in innovation. Financially stable and recognized as a brand and product innovator, we are large enough to have a big impact in the market, but small enough to mobilize and quickly adjust to initiatives or changes in the economy. More than 40% of our products are fewer than five years old – and we are always working on new innovations. Our marketing professionals help us develop strategies, manage product portfolios and identify future trends and business opportunities that bring new ideas to the industry, grow share for the business and drive our own future.

Full brand responsibility
As a marketing and brand manager here, you will own your product from development to launch and through maturity. We’ll rely on you to lead a team and define every aspect of the plan, including life cycle management, pricing strategies, positioning, costing, profitability, commercialization, sales support and product training. This dynamic position requires a wide range of skills. One day, you might be shooting a video to showcase product capabilities. The next, you could be roughing out a global pricing model or presenting your business case to executive leadership.

Big impact, high-growth roles
At Kennametal, you’ll interact with people in many areas of our organization and participate in projects that stretch your talents. All of our global product managers and market segment portfolio leaders are aligned and work together to develop strategies that reach and exceed goals. Our global product managers are located primarily at Kennametal’s world headquarters in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and in Fürth, Germany, while our regional product managers are located strategically around the world. A career in marketing communications offers a high level of exposure to our executives and is considered an incubator of future business.
