Ready-to-Press Carbide Grade Powders
We pre-blend ready-to-press tungsten carbide to achieve specific qualities of the powder. We can provide a sampling of some of our hundreds of standard grades to you so you can see the variety of functions our grade powders can serve.
Tungsten Carbide Grade Powders
- 超硬合金:
- 60 mesh to 325 mesh
- All grades containing cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), titanium carbide (TiC) TaC, NbC, Cr3C2, VC and others
Hundreds of Varieties
We can develop and produce custom-grade or ready-to-press powders. We offer more than 800 individual grades, with an average of 50 or more separate grades produced each month. We can produce large varieties of graded powder under strict manufacturing guidelines, which helps to eliminate cross-contamination and improve reproducibility.
- Standard and customer-specific formulas available
- Granule size: -60 +270 mesh
- Typical binders: 2% paraffin binders
Tungsten Heavy Alloy Blends
We manufacture custom blends of tungsten heavy alloy that capitalize on tungsten’s density and shielding capabilities. These blends do not contain cobalt, therefore they block radioactive waves. These tungsten heavy alloy blends are used in everything from the counterweights used in airplanes to the radiation shielding needed in medical devices.
Tungsten Carbide Reclaim Powders
Tungsten carbide is often used to create hardmetals for cutting steel. Once mixed with cobalt binder, tungsten carbide is pressed and sintered. Sintered tungsten carbide is one of the hardest substances available, and is used to cut steel and drill circuit boards, and in many other high-tech applications in the automobile, aerospace, and other industries.
Tungsten carbide zinc reclaimed: All hard scraps containing cobalt (Co).
Tungsten carbide reclaimed powder is available in four different grades. All grades are manufactured by the zinc process of hard scrap reclamation. Uniform batches and exacting quality control enhance its desirability to cemented carbide manufacturers.
All powder is commercially uniform in purity. The Chemical and Physical Analyses are determined for each production lot of powder by using commercially accepted methods. The results of all relevant tests are reported to the customer on a Certificate of Analysis.
