Kennametal's Transition to SAP S/4HANA

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective July 6, 2026, Kennametal will transition to SAP S/4HANA. We are sharing this information now to allow adequate time for awareness, preparation and planning. This upgrade brings various benefits, including more efficient order processing, and we are confident it will improve the way we serve you.

What You Need to Know:

• A planned system shutdown will begin on June 28 at 5:00 pm local time.
• We will resume normal system operations on July 6 6:00 am local time.
• Last day in June for receiving purchase orders is June 28, at 5:00 pm local time.
• Purchase Orders received after June 28th will be processed beginning July 6.

Kennametal.com Website:

• Ordering on our Kennametal.com website will be unavailable June 29 – July 5. In addition, various areas of the website may have limited functionality intermittently from June 29 to July 6. If you need assistance during that time, please contact our customer service department.

EDI & Ariba Ordering Method:

• Kennametal will continue to receive customer purchase orders during this system outage however these purchase orders will be processed beginning July 6.

Customer shipments in the month of June will end at the end of the workday on June 29 with the following exceptions:

• Thailand: June 26
• Turkey: June 23
• Mexico: June 19
