    Grades

    KC7410

    KC7410

    Composition: Multilayered PVD AlCrN-based coated fine-grain carbide.
    Application: First choice for cast iron. Due to the uniquely developed coating, this grade exhibits extraordinary wear resistance in abrasive materials offering the highest material removal rates.

    Features and benefits

    • KenTIP KC7410™ HPC provides high tool life and excellent hole quality in cast iron materials.
    • HPC geometry provides excellent centering and very straight holes with its very distinct S-point geometry. With a corner chamfer and an additional rake angle correction chamfer along its four margin lands, this grade creates holes of the highest quality.
    • KC7410 is a multilayer AlCr-based coating over fine grain carbide. It is extraordinarily wear resistant in cast iron applications due to its high hot hardness.
    • Use KC7410 HPC in gray cast iron applications, preferably with stable processes only.
