A broca HPX produz consistentemente maior vida útil da ferramenta em aço maior do que as ferramentas da concorrência, mesmo com avanços e velocidades significativamente maiores.

Uma aresta transversal especial na broca HPX melhora a formação de cavacos e forma um cavaco menor. A geometria de ponta HPX específica do material cria forças de corte significativamente menores, o que funciona muito bem para máquinas com capacidade de fuso inferior, condições de corte instáveis ou fixação instável da peça. Uma seção transversal contínua torna a broca HPX mais resistente à quebra da ferramenta e os canais de cavacos polidos ultra-altos garantem uma evacuação de cavacos superior.
