Kennametal Earth Cutting and Wear Solutions global teams are wrapping up final events of this busy calendar year. As we approach the New Year, we will have completed thirty-one events across the globe. These events are a priority for us as we strive to connect with our customers, offering customized solutions to meet their specific wear issues.
Our customer base covers a diverse group of industries, from mining and construction to defense and aerospace to oil and gas and so much more.
At a most basic level, regardless of industry, at Kennametal, we are wear problem experts who can match our material solutions and technologies to your biggest wear problems, helping you avoid costly downtime and achieve significant savings. We are happy to share this expertise whether it be through this blog or in person at our events.
The China Coal & Mining Expo (CCME) in Beijing and the International Mining, Equipment and Minerals Exhibition (IME) in Kolkata, India are major global events focused on mining operations. Both were held in late October and provided Kennametal an opportunity to highlight our wear solutions for mining, including the new PlusPoint™ picks with our extra-tough grade for continuous mining and KenCast™ wear protection solutions.
Our 2025 schedule also included a number of events devoted to construction. Bauma in Munich, Germany, held April 7-13, was the perfect venue to highlight our solutions to maximize tool life. This included next-gen Road King™ road milling teeth as well as our solutions for foundation drilling and trenching.
In addition to Bauma, our construction tooling and wear solutions were on display at events across many other regions including World of Asphalt, which was held in St. Louis, Missouri, USA March 25-27 ; Paving Expo Brazil in Sao Paulo from September 23-25; and finally at Excon in Bangalore, India from December 9-13.
Bauma 2025 - EMEA
Early on in 2025, Kennametal Stellite™ aerospace solutions were shown at MRO Americas, held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA from April 8-10. Our materials science expertise and quality resonated well with the aerospace audience where precision is paramount.
Likewise, our materials science knowledge as well as our value-based partnerships were well received at major defense events in 2025, including DSEI UK in London, held Sept 9-12 and AUSA in Washington, DC, USA from October 13-15.
AUSA 2025 - USA
Our Team engaged with Oil & Gas customers in both China and North America this past year at events, including CIPPE, which took place in Beijing March 26-28 and the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, TX, USA on May 5-8. Our wear experts talked to customers about the advantages of KennaFlow™ carbide seats over traditional steel seats. Oil & Gas customers also learned about our Stellite and Conforma Clad™ solutions for O&G applications as well as our 3D-printed solutions. 3D-printed customer samples were a huge draw to this audience as well as at our other events.
OTC 2025 - USA
Kennametal Sintec™ boron nitride ceramic solutions were also on a display at multiple industry events in North America throughout this year, including ICACC in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA in January; Ceramics Expo in Novi, Michigan, USA in April and the Advanced Materials Show in Columbus, Ohio, USA in late September. Reliability, innovation, and expertise were key factors in customer interest around this fascinating area of our business.
From large-scale industry events to small tabletop shows taking place across the globe, the Kennametal team was able to reach countless customers in 2025 to connect, understand their specific challenges, and provide game-changing solutions.
