    Grades

    • KC715M

      KC715M has a deformed substrate and PVD coating that can handle high temperatures and higher surface speeds making it ideal for dry machining. KC715M is primarily for use in light and general machining of steel, stainless steel, and cast steel.

    • KC792M

      Coated carbide grade with an 8um  thick multi-layer coating (TiN/TiCN/TiN).  High performance grade for machining steel, particularly at high cutting speeds.  Primarily for use in light and general applications.  KC792M is ideal for dry machining

    • KC915M

      Coated carbide grade with a CVD multi-layer coating (TiN/MT TiCN/Al2O3). KC915M is a universal
      grade for milling cast iron. This cutting material is the first choice for light and general machining.
      KC915M can be used in wet and dry machining, although dry is preferred.

    • KC925M
    • KCPK30

      A multilayered TiN-TiCN-Al2O3-CVD-coated carbide grade with advanced Beyond™ post-coat treatment and a very tough substrate. KCPK30 has a wide application area in general and rough milling of steels and cast irons. It performs best dry but can also be used wet.

      Uncoated cermet cutting material for light machining of steel.
      KT195M should be used dry.

      composition: An advanced alumina/TiC ceramic grade (black).
      application: Great combination of toughness and wear resistance; used
      for machining alloy steels, tool steels, and stainless steels to 60 HRC
      (653 HB). It is also applied in finish turning and boring of cast irons.

      H Hardened Materials
    • KY3500

      Composition: Pure silicon nitride grade.
      Application: Maximum toughness. Used at high feed rates for rough machining of grey cast iron, including machining through interruptions.

      K Cast Iron
    • KY4400

      Composition: A PVD TiN coating over an aluminium oxide and titanium carbonitride composite ceramic (Al2O3/TiCN).
      Application: Used for finish turning of hardened steels and irons (greater than 45 HRC). Where possible, use under dry conditions in smooth or varied depths of cut. Can also be applied in finish turning of nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, and powder metals.
