Kennametal Inc. has announced that it will release its first-quarter financial results Wednesday, October 31, 2001. The results will be made available in an early morning news release and discussed in a live broadcast over the Internet at 10:00 a.m. In addition to a review of the company's first-quarter results, as previously announced, an extended discussion of strategy and guidance, including webcast slides, will also be provided.
The live conference can be accessed by visiting the Investor Relations section of Kennametal's corporate web site: http://www.kennametal.com/ and following the prompt at the top of the page. The conference will be archived online two hours after completion of the call and will be available for replay for 30 days.
