Kennametal Inc. announced today the signing of a $500 million second amended and restated revolving credit agreement. This five-year syndicated bank facility lowers Kennametal's borrowing costs and provides the company with added flexibility in pursuit of its strategic acquisition activity, including the incorporation of a foreign subsidiary borrowing feature.
Bank of America acted as co-lead arranger and will be the administrative agent for the transaction. Key Bank and National City Bank were co-lead arrangers and co-syndication agents. The agent group was completed by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N. A. and PNC Bank, National Association in their capacity as co-documentation agents.
