KSOM Mini

The KSOM Mini shell mills and end mills are engineered for indexable ramping, plunging, helical interpolation, and face milling operations. These Kennametal, Screw-on, Octicut, Mill (KSOM) Mini systems deliver super soft cutting operations due to the positive rake face. They operate at low cutting forces, providing higher feed capability and enhancing overall productivity.

The inserts feature eight cutting edges and are available for light, medium, and heavy-duty applications. Their excellent performance in stainless steel and high-temperature alloys makes them the preferred choice for machining turbochargers and other high-demand situations. The end mills in this KSOM Mini-series feature shell mills and end mills with Weldon shanks, screw-on shanks, and cylindrical ends--providing versatility in your tooling options.
